Is an Innova car rental in Delhi still the best choice for outstation trips?
Hi everyone,
With so many new SUVs in the market, I still find myself coming back to the Toyota Innova for group travel. If you’re currently scouting for an Innova car rental Delhi service for a family trip or a corporate run, here is what the 2026 landscape looks like:
Reliability is the biggest factor. Whether you get the classic 2.5 diesel or the newer Crysta, the highway comfort is unmatched. Most reputable operators in Delhi are now quoting around ₹16 to ₹19 per km for the standard models, which is quite competitive compared to booking two smaller sedans.
If you’re booking for a long haul say, Delhi to Shimla or Manali I’d suggest making sure the car has a carrier on top. Most Innova car rental Delhi providers include this for free, but it’s always worth double-checking so you don't lose legroom to your luggage.
I’ve personally had a smooth experience with India Tour Taxi. Their fleet is very well-maintained, and they don't play games with the "Garage to Garage" kilometer readings.
What’s your take? Do you prefer the classic Innova for its ruggedness, or have you moved on to the Hycross?
