Broccoli flower plant is a cool-season crop, which thrives well when the temperature is maintained at 60-70 Degree Celius. The most perfect planting season is during early spring or late summer or at least depending on your area. The benefit of sowing the seeds inside 4-6 weeks prior to the last frost provides the plants with a good start. To harvest in fall, plant late in summer to ensure that broccoli grows during cooler temperatures, which enhances head quality, taste, and bolting which spoils the heads.
