How to Handle Special Spanish Characters in Email Subject Lines Without Breaking Encoding?
Hola a todos,
I’m currently working on a Spanish-language email campaign through Netcore Cloud, and I’ve hit a bit of a snag with encoding special characters (like ñ, á, é, etc.) in the subject line. In some email clients, they show up fine, but in others, I’m seeing broken characters or odd symbols like =?UTF-8?...?=.
My questions are:
Is there a recommended format or encoding we should use for subject lines in Spanish when sending through Netcore?
Does Netcore Cloud automatically encode subject lines correctly if we input them directly in UTF-8, or do we need to apply any kind of pre-processing?
Have any of you dealt with deliverability issues or lower open rates specifically due to special characters in the subject?
I want to make sure the emails look professional and readable in both Gmail and Outlook, especially for our Latin American audience.
Would really appreciate any tips, examples, or documentation links you’ve found useful for handling this!
Gracias,
