What is difference between editing and proofreading?
3 days ago by johnbean
Editing and proofreading are both important steps in the writing process, but they are not the same. Editing looks at the big picture. It checks how best academic proofreading services are organized, whether the writing makes sense, and if the tone is right for the audience. An editor may suggest changes to improve clarity, flow, or structure. Proofreading comes after editing. It focuses on small mistakes like spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting. A proofreader makes sure the final version of the text is clean and error-free.
